This is a shrinky-dink showdown, first and foremost — bring your best design. The pool & hot tub are there if you want a break, but they're not the point of the day.
The Shrink-Off
The main event: a shrinky dink design contest. Craft something small, watch it shrink, compete for real prizes.
Prizes
Best design, funniest design, most impressive shrink — categories and winners announced live.
Games Galore
A big open common room just for games — bring your favorites or join whatever's already going.
Food & Drinks
Plenty of both — come hungry and thirsty, we've got you covered all evening.
Pool & Hot Tub
Totally optional — the pool and hot tub are open if you want to swim, but no pressure. This one's really about the crafting.
How Shrinky Dinks Work
Never made one before? Here's the whole magic trick in four steps.
Grab a sheet of shrink plastic. It's a special thin, frosted plastic sheet made just for this — we'll have plenty on hand.
Draw & color your design. Use markers, colored pencils, or paint pens to sketch whatever you want — a charm, a badge, a tiny masterpiece.
Cut it out (and punch a hole if you want to turn it into a keychain or necklace later).
Bake it. Pop it in the oven — we'll have one set up right in the space — and watch it curl, twist, and dance around, then flatten back out, shrunk to about a third of its size and much thicker and glossier.
